Primary Sector Businesses Relocate
Luckily the community has only lost two of the 27 primary sector business (and 6,167 jobs) that were affected - Swiss Valley Farms (47 jobs) and Norwood Souvenir (194 jobs).
Unemployed Open New BusinessPriority One worked in partnership with the Entrepreneurial Development Center to assist former employees of Norwood to start their own company, Cedar Crest Manufacturing; they plan to employ 40-50 people (mostly other former Norwood employees) over the next three years.
